Every tool the assistant can use.

The complete set of ScoutRival tools available over MCP — what each returns, the access level it needs, and what it costs. Reading is free and returns the full dashboard view; a few tools generate content or run a check and spend credits.

Your assistant sees these as named tools it can call on your behalf. You don't type the names — you ask in plain language ("what did my competitors do this week") and the assistant picks the right one. This page is the reference for what each returns, so you know what to expect.

// TWO THINGS TO KNOW

Access is the token level a tool needs — Read-only, Content or Full (see scopes). Cost is credits, charged exactly as in the app. Reading your data is always free and returns the whole view, not a summary. Tools marked job take a while, so they hand back a ticket the assistant checks for the result.

Jobs & access levels

Tools marked job — full articles, audits, AI-visibility checks, briefs and competitor analyses — take longer than a normal reply. They hand your assistant a ticket straight away, and it checks back for the result with one more tool:

ToolReturnsAccessCost
get_jobThe status and result of a running job.AnyFree

The three access levels map to what you'd want a connection to be able to do: Read-only reads everything and spends nothing; Content adds writing content, generating a brief and saving WordPress drafts; Full adds running audits and checks and adding competitors. Choose the least you need — see scopes and access levels.
